Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

• Ensures the feasibility of manufacturing a new product relative to cost and quality is incorporated in the development process.

• Directs the development of manufacturing process to ensure consistency with the Unit's profit and investment objectives.

• Ensures that the manufacturing processes, tooling and facilities advantageously use advanced state-of-the-art technology.

• Ensures that all programs meet the required start of production (SOP) timing.

• Develops exclusive proprietary manufacturing processes or techniques and equipment to maintain competitive position in the marketplace.

• Provides assistance to the production operations in solving technical problems on a day-to-day basis to ensure that there is no production shutdown.

• Ensures that manufacturing functions provide and maintain services in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

• Provides accurate labor and material standards, cost estimating information, and analyses to assist management in formulating business decisions.

• Ensures that technical productivity improvement and cost reduction strategies are being planned and implemented on an ongoing basis.

• Comply with the Company Production System working outline.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
  机械工程学位
• Above ten years experience in manufacturing environment.
  10年制造行业经验
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
  流利的英语说写能力
• Automotive experience is preferred.

• Good communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively in cross functional teams and in multi cultural groups.
